U.S. History I
***This course is required for graduation***

This course is designed to cover United States history from 1840 through 1920. 

Objectives:

*
Students will investigate and understand U.S. History within the disciplines of civics,
geography, and economics

*  Students will analyze the social, political, and economic forces of change that occurred as a result of the Civil War

*  Students will compare and contrast how expansion affects national and regional population

 

*  Students will investigate the international ties that WW1 created and the effect it had on the U.S. and other countries
 

*    Students will draw conclusions as to the interrelationships of business and government

 

 

U.S. History II
***This course is required for graduation***

This course is designed to cover United States history beginning with the ending of World War I until present day.

Objectives:

*  Students will investigate and understand U.S. History within the disciplines of civics, geography, and economics

*  Students will analyze the social, political, and economic forces of change that occurred as a result of  WWI and how WWI affected the world leading up to WWII.

*  Students will compare and contrast how expansion affects the national and regional population.

*  Students will investigate the international ties that WWI and WWII created and the effect it had on the U.S. and other countries.

*  Students will draw conclusions as to the interrelationships of business and government.
